Bring a picture ID
Take a literacy test
Take a basic math test
Conduct an interview
Pass a drug test
TB test and criminal background screening

High School Diploma or GED Required? Yes

Other Requirements:
Must be 18 or older
Basic 8th grade reading/math skills
Able to perform kitchen tasks
Must have previous experience in food service

Can I get in if I have a criminal record? Yes, unless you have been convicted of a violent crime or a sex offense

Support Services

Some programs offer support services to help you succeed. This program offers the following:
Help with job placement
Stipend - $25/week if no absences or lates

Average Earnings: $7.26 - $9.99

How long does it usually take to find a job? 1-3 months

Will I get help finding a job? Yes. 1) Resume, interview and life skills programs; 2) assistance one-on-one with online job searching; 3) references & assistance with pre and post-interview contacts

What are my long-term job prospects? Our programs seeks to place students in large food service operations where they can move up to management positions, if they wish. We also seek placement in operations with basic health and other benefits.
